MULTI-TERM REGISTRATION FALL 2007
Multi-term registration is a new academic planning tool that allows students to view courses in advance, plan courses sequentially and register for fall and spring courses simultaneously.
Effective Fall 2007, multi-term registration will be available to degree seeking students who satisfy the following program requirements and have no administrative holds that prevent enrollment.
Eligible Undergraduate Student
New students:
- New first-time-in-college and transfer students admitted for summer or fall.
Continuing students:
- Less than 60 earned credits: students must be in good academic standing with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or better.
- 60 or more earned credits: students must have satisfied the CLAST exam and be in good academic standing with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or better.
Eligible Graduate Students
New students:
- New students fully admitted for summer or fall (students provisionally or conditionally admitted are ineligible for multi-term registration).
Continuing students:
- Continuing students in good academic standing with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better.
Students eligible for multi-term registration will be given an appointment date to register for spring courses at the same time they are registering for their fall courses. Students registering for multi-terms will be expected to remit payment for their courses at the beginning of each fall and spring term. Similarly, students receiving financial aid will receive their aid at the start of each new term.
Degree seeking students will also have an opportunity to register for spring courses during the regular spring registration period beginning in November. This includes:
- Multi-term registrants who wish to modify their schedule,
- Eligible multi-term students who prefer not to register in advance, and
- All other students who are ineligible to participate at this time.
